Every August Headingley Methodist Church chooses a charity to be the Church Charity for the following year (September to September).

The Church Charity usually alternates between a local charity and an international one, although this arrangement is not ‘set in stone’.

The current Church Charity is Water Aid, an organisation that aims to provide clean water and decent toilets to people all over the world, and to encourage good hygiene practices.
